Strategic Insurance Business Development Manager

The salary for this position is estimated to be around HKD 600,000 - HKD 900,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job Description:
Main Responsibilities:
- We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Business Development to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with bank relationship managers (RMs) to explore new business opportunities from Corporate Banking and Private Banking Division customers on life insurance.
- Key responsibilities include managing and maintaining good business relationships with Bank Divisions and partnering insurers, joint calls with RMs to offer presentations to clients, and providing proposals to RMs and clients on life insurance, critical illness, and other relevant suitable plans.
- The ideal candidate will also be responsible for completing the entire insurance application process for clients, following up post-sales service, conducting market research with analysis, delivering updates on industry trends and developments to RMs, preparing materials for regular trainings, and conducting product due diligence and regular assessments to meet compliance requirements.
- In addition, the successful candidate will assist their superior in developing and enhancing the workflow of life insurance business, preparing regular meeting materials, and MIS reports, and assisting in ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree or related disciplines; professional qualification obtained is a plus.
- Over eight years' relevant working experience in the insurance industry; work experience in the banking industry would be an advantage. Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Manager role.
- Passed IIQE Paper I and III; Paper II and V passed is an advantage.
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, preferably fluent in Putonghua.
- Good interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Be a good team player.
