About the Role

As a Senior Analyst, Payment and Cash Operations, you will be responsible for verifying payment and cash-related transactions, managing hub performance, and supporting procedure/system change activities. You will also be responsible for proactively addressing potential risks and implementing correspondent controls under the payment and cash area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve cost control by increasing productivity and minimizing processing errors.
  • Closely monitor the quality of work provided by our service provider/operator and ensure they can deliver customer-satisfactory services by meeting all service level agreements with customers and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate understanding and commitment to customer-centricity.
  • Position will involve monitoring payment and cash-related activities, building new or assisting in changing product processes as per business needs with proper risk control in place. Timely escalation of exceptional issues is required.
  • Collaborate with different teams for regulatory reporting.
  • Manage and coordinate with third-party vendors for delivery of services.
  • Need to have team spirit and lead the team to achieve overall performance targets.
  • Be able to identify and control unexpected risk exposure by fostering awareness and understanding of operational risk throughout the operation process.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of Accounting, Bills of Exchange, SWIFT payment, Chats, FPS Operational risk, reconciliation.
  • Strong working experience in the banking industry.
  • Knowledge of HKICL procedure and HKMA policies.
  • Prior working experience in a checker/monitor role.
