We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Partnerships Director to join our Digital Strategy & Business Development team in APAC. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading negotiations with digital service providers, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth for our labels and artists.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Negotiate and execute global agreements with key digital partners, representing the strategic view of WMG
  • Maintain strong relationships with key partners and identify new opportunities to drive revenue growth and create value for our labels and artists
  • Evaluate potential licensing partners in the digital space and develop strategies to leverage their offerings
  • Communicate deals and updates to stakeholders within WMG and senior management
  • Monitor trends in the APAC media and consumer tech ecosystem to inform strategic initiatives and provide guidance to senior management
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in music content licensing, deal negotiation, or a related field
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate complex data and make informed decisions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with partners and internal stakeholders
  • Proven track record of success in negotiating and executing high-value deals
  • Fluent English language skills; Mandarin proficiency a plus
