Role Overview:

The Brand Manager is essential in driving profitable expansion within the home care categories across Greater China, focusing primarily on Hong Kong, followed by Taiwan and brand support in Mainland China. This position encompasses the formulation and execution of localized marketing strategies and initiatives for Clorox, alongside portfolio management that aligns with the overarching global brand strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Development & Implementation

  • Analyze consumer insights and market dynamics
  • Safeguard brand integrity, manage product assortment, and establish pricing strategies
  • Design, develop, and implement new product launches and marketing campaigns that resonate with regional and local strategic objectives

Communication & Collaboration

  • Coordinate with creative, media, and research agencies for integrated marketing communications, campaign media planning, and content execution
  • Engage with cross-functional teams and regional departments to ensure alignment and compliance for product innovation and renovation initiatives

Financial Oversight

  • Oversee the brand's profit and loss, advertising and promotional spending to achieve sales, margin, and profit targets
  • Conduct forecasting and budgeting activities

Operational Support

  • Manage data analysis and internal reporting as required
  • Oversee monthly advertising and promotional budgets
  • Handle various marketing administrative tasks

Desired Qualifications:

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint; familiarity with Nielsen Advisor/Discover is advantageous

Language Proficiency:

  • Fluent in Cantonese
  • Proficient in English
  • Conversational Mandarin

Proven Skills:

  • Strategic thinker with excellent communication abilities
  • Creative, self-driven, ambitious, and resilient
  • Strong individual contributor with a solid understanding of business and numerical analysis
  • Excellent teamwork skills, accountable, proactive, logical, and eager to learn and develop

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, preferably within a large multinational corporation
  • Experience in the home care category is highly preferred
  • Background in new product development is a plus
  • Experience with overseas or import-export product operations is beneficial

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
