We are currently seeking applications for the following position:

Manager (Communications and Public Affairs)
Office of Institutional Advancement and Public Affairs (OIAPA)

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing the University’s image and reputation. Responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing and coordinating large-scale, high-profile events, ceremonies, and stakeholder engagement activities, such as the University’s Honorary Fellowship Presentation Ceremony and Congregation.
  • Developing and implementing both digital and traditional marketing strategies, including corporate videos and promotional materials, while managing social media platforms to boost the University’s visibility and convey its distinctive brand identity.
  • Facilitating stakeholder and community engagement through various events and initiatives.
  • Curating and generating compelling narratives from within the University community.
  • Undertaking additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

  • A recognized degree or equivalent qualification, coupled with a minimum of 10 years of substantial experience in corporate communications, public affairs, marketing, and event management.
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms.
  • Proficient command of written and spoken English and Chinese, with Putonghua proficiency considered an advantage.
  • Ability to independently manage projects and adhere to tight deadlines.

Compensation and Benefits
