Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with both existing and prospective institutional clients to expand the clientele of DBS Vickers.
  • Drive commission revenue generation from institutional clients based in Hong Kong.
  • Collaborate closely with international sales teams to effectively serve global clients.
  • Proactively gather timely and precise information through company visits and market interactions, conveying insights to clients for informed investment decisions.
  • Organize client meetings to promote our analysts and research offerings.
  • Work in tandem with the sales trading team to gain insights into clients' trading behaviors and stock holdings, as well as market trends.
  • Contribute to initiatives that position DBS Vickers as a premier research-driven brokerage in the Asia Pacific region.
  • Support the Sales Head in managing the sales team and assist in strategic planning and execution of business initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience with a solid understanding of brokerage services and securities products.
  • Proficient in Mandarin and fluent in English.
  • Qualified to conduct regulated activities in Investment (Types 1 and 2) as per the Securities and Futures Ordinance (SFO).
  • Strong comprehension of investment behaviors and risk appetites of institutional investors.
  • Experience in servicing the institutional investor segment is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A resourceful and dynamic individual who thrives in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
