About the RoleWe are currently seeking a Strategic Risk Consultant to join our team in [location]. As a key member of our Risk Consulting group, you will be responsible for providing clients with advisory and assurance services over prudential and/or regulatory reporting and associated governance and control frameworks.
Your primary objective will be to assist clients in addressing their urgent strategic and operational challenges in today's dynamic environment. You will have the opportunity to develop powerful insights into different aspects of a client's business, from strategy, governance to financial and operational processes.
Responsibilities- Provide technical advice to clients on the application of capital and liquidity regulatory reporting requirements;
- Assist in opportunity pursuits and establish and build internal and external relationships;
- Work with a team of professionals to perform high-quality consulting projects and help identify performance improvement opportunities for clients;
- Effectively manage multiple/simultaneous/large/complex engagements/tasks;
- Supervise and provide performance management for staff working on assigned engagements;
- Around 5-10 years of working experience in Financial services, either in Banking & Capital Markets, Wealth & Asset Management or Insurance;
- Good knowledge in any of the following areas: internal audit, operational process design and improvement, corporate governance, internal controls, ERM, regulatory compliance, and supply chain;
- Expert technical understanding of Prudential Regulatory reporting requirements across at least one of the following areas: liquidity reporting, interest rate risk reporting, FX risk reporting, capital reporting, market risk reporting;
- Creative thinking, strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high commitment to quality client service;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Strong presentation and report writing skills with a good command of verbal and written English (Bilingual in Chinese is strongly preferred);
- Experience in handling high-impact and complex projects across borders/functions in a dynamic environment will be a definite advantage;
- An estimated salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience;
