Job Opportunity for Legal Secretaries

Star Anise Limited, a leading legal and compliance recruitment firm in Hong Kong, is seeking highly skilled Legal Secretaries to join our clients, primarily international law firms with a strong presence in China and the APAC market, and leading in-house legal teams.

We are looking for individuals with experience working in Litigation, Corporate M&A, ECM, DCM, Funds, General Commercial Litigation, and Arbitration teams. A strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal software like Elite 3E is highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to partners, attorneys, and legal staff.
  • Manage and organize legal documents, correspondence, and case files.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Prepare and format legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, and contracts.
  • Conduct legal research and assist with case preparation.
  • Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with legal procedures and regulations.
Qualifications:
  • All levels - junior to senior legal secretarial experience from a reputable law firm.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities in English and Chinese (including Mandarin) with excellent Chinese typing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
