Overview:

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions to establish various application products while ensuring the maintenance and support of system infrastructure components autonomously. This includes the configuration of operating systems and application systems to deliver timely services to both internal and external stakeholders. You will also take on the role of application administrator, overseeing the application database and performing necessary housekeeping tasks to maintain system health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in IT projects focusing on client-side aspects and provide informed recommendations.
  • Serve as a technical engineer for backend infrastructure services.
  • Conduct system and security maintenance for Windows servers and network infrastructures.
  • Respond promptly to security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and ensure resolution of incidents.
  • Maintain the IT infrastructure and application systems in optimal condition.
  • Oversee installation, configuration, storage sizing, design, tuning, and capacity planning.
  • Monitor and respond to system alerts and incidents effectively.
  • Evaluate and deploy new application systems and IT technologies.
  • Execute and maintain annual Business Continuity Planning (BCP) drill tests.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation for all application and network systems.
  • Provide technical and application support as needed.
  • Offer remote and onsite support after hours, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Work independently with strong problem-solving skills, providing professional insights to the application support team across all levels of development and maintenance tasks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in the field.
  • Extensive experience in the setup and administration of Windows servers, Active Directory, IIS, ARR, and Clustering.
  • Solid background in VMware infrastructure setup and administration.
  • Strong understanding of security incident management and vulnerability management processes.
  • Experience with security monitoring technologies such as Microsoft SCOM, Splunk, and WireShark.
  • Maintain system vulnerability management practices (Rapid7/Kenna/Penetration Testing).
  • Excellent skills in system and storage sizing, design, tuning, capacity planning, and problem analysis.
