Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Research Associate to join our team at the Institute of Future Cities, The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive research on heritage and rural conservation, ensuring alignment with international standards.
- Liaise with key stakeholders, project partners, grantors, and other related parties to foster effective collaboration.
- Prepare high-quality project documentation, manuscripts, and reports, showcasing expertise in research and communication.
- Organize public events and activities that promote cultural heritage and community engagement.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by senior management, contributing to the growth and success of the Institute.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in Anthropology, History, Cultural Management, or related disciplines, preferably from a reputable institution.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English, with a good command of Cantonese being essential.
- Demonstrated interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, with experience in research and project management an advantage.
What We Offer:
- An attractive annual salary of HKD 500,000 - HKD 700,000 (depending on qualifications and experience), providing a competitive compensation package.
- The opportunity to work with a dynamic team at the Institute of Future Cities, contributing to cutting-edge research and projects.
- A contract basis for up to one year, renewable subject to performance, funding availability, and mutual agreement.
