Job Overview

Our Content Creation business, Forum, produces research through industry interviews that allows institutional investors to make better and faster investment decisions. We conduct in-depth interviews with senior executives and industry specialists to unearth critical insights and generate unfiltered transcripts.

We have a 175-strong industry aligned team covering over 18,000 public and private companies, applying data-driven factor models to identify where capital is most likely to be deployed.

To deliver on our ambitious growth targets, we'd like to recruit an Associate to assist our growing team in Hong Kong and Japan in identifying and engaging with the most relevant industry professionals to take part in upcoming interview discussions.

Responsibilities:
  • Performing research on industries and businesses in the Pan-Asia region, focusing on Australia, Southeast Asia and India, to source and identify relevant individuals (C-level executives and practitioners) for moderated interviews.
  • Engaging these individuals to invite them to participate in our research, assessing their fees, and ensuring their insights are relevant.
  • Building professional networks, monitoring markets and companies in assigned sectors according to our content coverage strategies.
  • Working under tight deadlines, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders across global offices.
Additional Information about the Role
  • The format is a 1-hour industry interview between our Sector analyst and 1 industry expert. The Sector Analyst designs the question list and projects, while the Associate collaborates on sourcing industry experts.
  • Once assigned, the Associate conducts desktop research, sources industry experts, makes contact, introduces Third Bridge, screens backgrounds, assesses experience/knowledge, convinces them to participate, and coordinates interviews.
  • This role involves extensive outreach, fast-paced environment, and metric-oriented work. In the first year, the goal is to schedule 14-16 industry interviews per month.

Requirements:
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
  • Bachelor degree or above.
  • Prior work/internship experience (0-2 years) is required; the level of experience may vary, but curiosity, drive, and ambition matter.
  • Immediate availability is desirable.
