Job SummaryThis is a unique opportunity to work with a leading independent investment bank in Hong Kong, expanding their business into the Japanese semiconductor market. As a Senior Semiconductor Research Analyst, you will be responsible for developing a framework and network to analyze and research Japanese markets and industries.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Japanese semiconductor market, including trends, opportunities, and challenges.
- Collaborate with internal research analysts and external partners to gather data and insights on the Japanese market.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for both internal use and external publication, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
- Investigate and gain a deep understanding of industry developments, including technological advancements and market shifts.
- Conduct and assist in surveys, roadshows, investigation trips, and other research activities for investors and clients.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field from a reputable institution, such as economics, finance, or engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in research and business development, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent ability to process large and complex data.
- Fluency in written and spoken Japanese (JLPT N1) and Mandarin.
Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
