Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payment Processing Officer to join our team at ALL-STAR AGENCY. As a Payment Processing Officer, you will be responsible for processing corporate inward and outward remittance transactions, cross-border payments, and customer account transfers through various interbank payment channels and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transaction Processing: Process corporate inward and outward remittance transactions, cross-border payments, and customer account transfers through various interbank payment channels and systems.
  • Verification and Validation: Perform balance checks, verify signatures, assess payment channels, and match foreign exchange dealer slips.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks in transaction processing as directed by the supervisor.
  • Reconciliation: Carry out end-of-day reconciliations to confirm that all transactions are accurately logged.
  • Reporting: Generate required regulatory reports.
  • System Upgrades: Participate in system upgrades and contribute to user acceptance testing.
  • Mentorship: Mentor and train junior staff to ensure compliance with operational standards.
  • Compliance: Follow all established policies and procedures for transaction processing, and maintain awareness of anti-money laundering regulations, remaining alert to any suspicious activities.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; a diploma or degree is preferred.
  • Experience: More than 1 year of experience in remittance operations, with extensive knowledge of various operational areas.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service and a service-oriented mindset.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Solid understanding of compliance checks related to payment transactions, particularly concerning AML and anti-terrorism regulations.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Language Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Mandarin is a plus.
