Head of Payment Proposition

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop a comprehensive payment proposition that aligns with the bank's overall vision and goals.
  • Enhance customer engagement through a new payment ecosystem and support the delivery of Customer Lifecycle Management initiatives.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and customer needs, driving innovation and developing new proposition ideas.
  • Develop and manage the budget for proposition development, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of existing products and propositions, making strategic recommendations for improvements or enhancements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop effective go-to-market strategies for new propositions.
  • Anticipate and meet regulatory, risk, and compliance obligations in a changing regulatory environment.
  • Lead the development, design, implementation, and improvement of processes, structures, capabilities, capacity, operating models, and infrastructure needed to deliver agreed plans and targets.
Requirements
  • Over 10 years of relevant experience in propositions or strategy formulation, preferably in payments and transactional banking products or similar product and service management within retail banking/financial services/payment industry.
  • Experience in product management, organizational leadership, and commercial management of transactional banking products or other similar products.
  • Demonstrate change leadership and strategic focus with a strong Growth Mindset and passion to champion change and promote innovation.
  • Strong customer-centricity focus to deliver market-leading products, services, and experiences to targeted customers.
  • Highly effective navigation within a complex matrix environment, governance standards, and regulatory context with agile ways of working and strong engagement with different levels of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong track record in orchestrating and leading strategy development, business planning, and implementations across multiple business and functional stakeholders to successful completion.
  • Seasoned people leadership to engage, motivate, and develop a diverse team; drive a strong performance culture with clear aligned direction; build a talent pipeline and business bench strength.
  • Strong outcomes focus with adaptability, sound judgment, and business insights in decision-making, and accountability in delivery.
  • University degree in Investment, Business Administration, Banking and Finance or related disciplines.
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese.
