Job Title: Accounting Manager, Payment Section

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team at Bank Of China (Hong Kong) Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the accounts payable cycle, ensuring all accounting records are properly recorded, and compiling user requirements and performing user acceptance tests on accounting systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Accounts Payable Cycle: Oversee the entire accounts payable process, from receipt of invoices to payment, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Ensure Accounting Records are Properly Recorded: Verify and maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Compile User Requirements and Perform User Acceptance Tests: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify user requirements and perform thorough user acceptance tests on accounting systems to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
  • Participate in Developing and Maintaining Procedure Manuals: Contribute to the development and maintenance of procedure manuals, ensuring that all accounting processes and procedures are clearly documented and up-to-date.
  • Ad Hoc Projects to Support Management's Decision: Provide analytical support to management by conducting ad hoc projects and providing insights to inform business decisions.
Requirements:
  • Degree with Major in Accounting, Finance or Related Disciplines: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • 3-5 Years' Experience in Accounts Payable Function: A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the accounts payable function is required.
  • Knowledge and Experience in VBA Macro and Strong Mastery of MS Office: Proficiency in VBA Macro and strong mastery of MS Office, particularly in Excel and Word, is essential.
  • Independent, Self-Motivated, and Able to Work Under Pressure: The successful candidate must be independent, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Good Knowledge in Financial Analysis, Strong Analytical Skills, and Critical Mindset: A good understanding of financial analysis, strong analytical skills, and a critical mindset are required to examine and analyze financial and management information with business acumen.
  • Good Presentation and Report Writing Skills in Both Chinese and English: Excellent presentation and report writing skills in both Chinese and English are essential, including Chinese word processing skills.
  • Fluent in Both Spoken and Written English and Chinese: Fluency in both spoken and written English and Chinese, including Mandarin, is required.
  • Experience in Performing User Acceptance Test is an Advantage: Experience in performing user acceptance tests is an advantage.
