Business Development Representative

Key Responsibilities- Closing new and re-contracting RMR business in Malaysia
- Researching and reaching out to potential clients through compelling cold calls, persuasive cold emails, or social media activities
- Presenting the business impact of scent marketing and air purification to captivate potential clients
- Collaborating with Senior Sales Director and Business Development Manager to seek out new business opportunities within major markets across assigned territories
- Facilitating meetings and calls between prospective clients and Business Development Manager
- Reporting sales results to Senior Sales Director and Business Development Manager, providing valuable industry and market insights
- Staying at the forefront of customer experience trends in the hospitality, real estate, retail, gaming, fitness, and senior living industries
- Researching industry trends, new company products, and technologies
- Collaborating with teammates on creative prospecting initiatives
- Participating in ongoing consultative, professional sales development
- Accurately logging, tracking, and maintaining sales records
- Attending ongoing product and fragrance training sessions
- University degree in Marketing or Sales
- Min. 2 years of call center experience with selling experience and a proven track record of achievement, preferably selling B2B products or services
- Proven record of consultative/value-based selling via cold calls and/or cold emailing
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport and generate interest in our products and services
- Strong persuasion and presentation skills
- Ability to work well with minimal supervision and take initiative
- Disciplined approach to daily activity planning, setting goals, and achieving success
- Critical problem-solving skills to handle customer questions and overcome objections
- Self-motivated and capable of thriving both independently and within a collaborative team environment
- Technical skills in CRM (Salesforce.com preferred) and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Proficiency in using MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and Teams
- High proficiency in written and verbal English and, Malay, Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese), and/or Southeast languages (such as Malay, etc.)
