The Role

">
  • As a Boarding Officer, you will report to our Senior Operation Manager and work as part of a team of 5-6 Operation Officers.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring that vessels, including international cruises, comply with all pre-arrival and departure formalities in Hong Kong and southern China.
  • You will supervise and coordinate with sub-contractors, consignees/surveyors, or other parties related to vessel/cargo operations, bunkering, crew change, crew medical assistance, spare parts shipment/delivery Cash-To-Master.
  • You will compile and submit port disbursement accounts to Principals/Owners for reimbursement.
  • To be successful in this role, you will either need 2+ years of experience as a Boarding Officer or 2+ years of shore-based experience in shipping/operation fields.
  • Knowledge of the Hong Kong Shipping Ordinance is essential, and proficiency in written and spoken English, Chinese, and Mandarin is required.
  • You will also need a customer service mindset, MS Office, and Excel skills, as well as the ability to work a 5-day week.
