Our client, a renowned F&B group in Hong Kong, seeks an experienced Sommelier to serve guests with exceptional food and wine pairings.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum 3-year Sommelier working experience in fine dining and be able to up sell and offer food and drink suggestions to guests.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform the role of Sommelier, recommending food and wine pairings in accordance with the menu.
  • Serve tables, understanding the food menu and familiar with food notes and sequence of service.
  • Oversee the serving of wine, ensuring right temperature, glassware, and storage of bottle.
  • Maintain stock levels, ensuring accuracy in the POS system.
  • Prepare all drink garnishes, keeping the garnish station continuously stocked.
  • Support maintenance and stock checking of the wine cellar, ordering wine, and updating the wine list.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-year Sommelier working experience in fine dining or lesser experience as Assistant Sommelier.
  • Proven work experience as a Sommelier.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Able to develop their knowledge further on wine and beverage.
  • Good command in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
  • Holder of WSET level 3 certificate.
  • Hong Kong Permanent Resident only.
