Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Event Management Expert to join our team at Marriott International. This role will be responsible for managing event logistics and operations, ensuring seamless execution and exceeding customer expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Manage event planning and coordination from start to finish
  • Coordinate with sales, property departments, and customers to ensure consistent service throughout the event process
  • Ensure accurate billing and conduct bill reviews with clients prior to processing final bills
  • Lead formal pre-event and post-event meetings for average to large-sized assigned groups
  • Solicit feedback from property departments to identify areas for improvement and enhance the Event Planner's experience
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 1-2 years of experience in event management or related field preferred
  • 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; at least 1 year experience in event management or related field required
Benefits
