Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Officer to join our Building Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading technical teams and managing daily maintenance, engineering, and emergency repair work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, repair, and testing of large building equipment systems.
- Lead technical teams and manage daily maintenance, engineering, and emergency repair work schedules, quality, and safety.
- Provide technical advice to internal and external customers, develop contracts, and enhance team technical expertise.
- Assist in controlling budgets and preparing quotes and related reports.
- Conduct inspections and report system issues.
- Assist in handling all matters related to building equipment systems for the supervisor.
- Follow the roster to handle 24-hour emergency repair services.
Requirements:
- Hold a relevant building equipment senior certificate or degree.
- Have 5 years or more of experience in building equipment system maintenance and repair.
- Be familiar with relevant laws and regulations.
- Have good technical knowledge of electrical systems, especially backup generators, UPS, and chilled water systems.
- Be able to write Chinese maintenance reports and read simple English work orders.
- Hold a valid Construction Industry Safety Passport.
- Hold a Level A or above electrical license issued by the Electrical and Mechanical Services Department, which will be given priority consideration.
- Hold a valid Category 1 and 2 driving license, which will be given priority consideration.
- Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of Technical Officer.
