About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Building Services Engineer to join our team in Hong Kong. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for administering quality assurance for all FM engineering works in Hong Kong, ensuring they meet expected standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer quality assurance for all FM engineering works in Hong Kong to ensure they meet expected standards.
  • Administer quality assurance and monitor outsourced vendors to ensure equipment is maintained at a high standard.
  • Review the maintenance/service practices of E&M contractors to deliver quality work practices in line with manufacturer recommendations, established processes, tools, and documentation.
  • Contract management of critical equipment contracts to ensure scope and servicing is delivered appropriately.
  • Day-to-Day management of the Client's Comms Rooms and Comms Closets.
  • Coordinate with the Enterprise Data Center and IT team for handling and assessing IT equipment Moves, Adds, and Changes requests in Client's Office/new premises.
  • Engineering regulatory compliance management for Hong Kong portfolio, along with compliance to Client's Engineering Standard.
  • Incident management support, including 24/7 on-call for all incidents in Hong Kong.
  • Governance of as-built drawings and OEM information, i.e., review project handover documentation.
  • Production and management of SOPS/EOPS.
  • Management of lifecycle asset management and UPS component replacement.
  • Support for regional engineering standardization tasks across Asia Pacific.
  • Administer ePermit system for all staff and all sub-contractors in Hong Kong.
  • Assist engineering manager to coordinate technical training delivery; provide direct people management of Hong Kong Technical Team (Team size: 10-12 staff).
  • Identify energy-saving initiatives and work through to implementation and validation.
  • Review of all maintenance reports to ensure maintenance is conducted appropriately and performance issues are actioned.
  • Responsible for engineering team management and ongoing coaching of staff.
  • Responsible for audit preparation, submissions, and attendance.
Requirements
  • Degree holder in building services/electrical engineering or equivalent professional qualification in engineering field.
  • At least 3 years relevant working experience; with proven job experience in managing maintenance, operation, and fit-out projects. Experience of engineering system troubleshooting. Previous exposure to Data Centres.
  • Well-versed in statutory requirements of building services and electrical systems and facilities management.
  • Strong interpersonal, decision-making, and people management skills.
  • Fluent in spoken English, Cantonese, and written in English and Chinese.
  • Ability to think laterally and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Able to work independently and take full responsibilities for all technical matters.
