About the Role
  • We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our team in Hong Kong, responsible for performing monthly consolidation, financial reporting, and management accounting for the Group and its subsidiaries.
  • This role involves preparing financial reports, including IFRS statements and subsidiaries reporting, as well as reviewing and enhancing management reports/analysis.
  • The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements, as well as solid experience in finance and securities industry.
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Mandarin, is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform monthly consolidation, financial reporting, and management accounting for the Group and its subsidiaries.
  • Responsible for annual budget, planning, forecasting, and monthly operational review report.
  • Prepare financial reports including IFRS statement and subsidiaries reporting.
  • Responsible for monthly Returns on Financial Resources Rules (FRR) for reporting to the Securities and Futures Commission.
  • Review and enhance management reports/analysis.
  • Track and analyze the group's financial and operational performance drivers and KPIs.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain financial policies, internal controls, and procedures.
  • Assist in the Treasury function to closely monitor the Group's cash flow and funding.
  • Handle tax compliance matters and other tax issues.
  • Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Degree holder in Accountancy or related disciplines with professional accountancy qualification such as HKICPA/ACCA or equivalent.
  • Solid and in-depth knowledge in the Securities and Futures Ordinance (including Financial Resources Rules), regulations, and guidelines of relevant regulatory authorities and risk management control.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in finance/securities industry with at least 2 years of managerial experience.
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese (includes both Cantonese and Mandarin).
  • Able to work independently with efficiency and able to meet tight deadlines.
