Job Title: Junior Legal Documentation Specialist

Interactive Brokers is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Junior Legal Documentation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Treasury team, you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review documentation, including contracts, correspondence, and banking documents, to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate with local and foreign banks, exchanges, and clearing houses to facilitate the bank account opening process.
  • Review and prepare corporate resolutions and certificates authorizing strategic business transactions.
  • Respond to queries from internal and external auditors and maintain a legal documentation database.
  • Administer new entries or amend existing entries on the SWIFT address book.
  • Document the status of the account opening process on Confluence for all internal stakeholders.
  • Upkeep and renew signatory lists with banks.
  • Prepare documents quarterly for test loan drawdowns.
  • Liaise between auditors and banks on annual audit confirmations.
  • Perform monthly statistical Treasury analyses and stress tests.
  • Participate in various ad hoc Treasury projects.
Qualifications:
  • University graduate from a reputable university.
  • Paralegal experience is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a legal setting or the financial services industry is a plus.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel (Macro-proficiency is a plus), and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
