About the Role
KPMG China is seeking a highly skilled Regional Commercial Director to join our team. This role will play a crucial part in helping firms meet our collective Trust and Growth ambition, promoting consistency and collaboration across the Asia Pacific region.

As a Regional Commercial Director, you will develop and implement commercial management approaches to address complex multi-firm engagement pricing requirements and regional capability needs. You will be responsible for building relationships with senior leaders across member firms throughout the Asia Pacific region.

The key responsibilities of this role include:
  • Developing and implementing commercial management approaches to address complex multi-firm engagement pricing requirements and regional capability needs.
  • Building relationships with senior leaders across member firms throughout the Asia Pacific region.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve commercials & pricing on current contracts and pitches.
  • Leading client procurement negotiations on behalf of KPMG where appropriate.
  • Guiding on participation in competitive tendering processes, including client use of eAuctions.
  • Assisting the client service team in developing and articulating the pricing strategy and value proposition resulting from the overall account ambition.


Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
  • A strong background in procurement or a related field, with experience working on multi-million dollar projects.
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to hold/protect margin in contract discussions.
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to demonstrate influence and gravitas towards senior stakeholders.
  • Experience working within associated markets, such as financial services or commercial sectors.
  • Credibility and track record of working in senior procurement roles.
