**Responsibilities**:

  • Develop and execute business strategies to achieve agreed-upon targets and drive business growth.
  • Identify new broker partners and business lines with promising market potential and recommend accepting new brokers that align with our business goals and risk appetite.
  • Strengthen relationships with existing business partners and propose ways to deepen their wallet from existing relationships. Regularly visit brokers to agree on business targets and areas of collaboration.
  • Manage sales performance across various business lines by conducting regular business reviews with brokers. Recommend suitable incentive schemes and motivate lower-tier brokers to progress to higher tiers. Facilitate discussions on sales trends and keep internal stakeholders informed about market developments.
  • Prepare and present detailed monthly sales reports, including channel performance, market trends, and competitor analysis. Provide regular updates to senior management on sales performance and market developments.
  • Monitor business activities of the sales force and act as a point of contact for escalated underwriting issues and complex customer inquiries.
  • Review and update broker/agency agreements and other contracts to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Collaborate with legal, compliance, and underwriting teams to ensure all sales-related contracts meet regulatory standards and company policies.
  • Lead and mentor the distribution team, fostering a high-performance culture. Provide training to brokers and agents to enhance their sales capabilities on DSI products.

**Requirements and Qualifications**: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • University degree in a relevant field, preferably with professional certifications such as ACII, ANZII (Snr Assoc), or other insurance qualifications.
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in general insurance sales management.
  • Familiarity with HK Insurance Authority regulatory frameworks and practices in the Hong Kong insurance industry.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and managerial skills.
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.

Salary: Estimated HKD $1,200,000 - HKD $1,800,000 per annum based on location and experience. Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
