About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Regional Hydrogen Leader to join our team in East Asia. As a key member of our hydrogen energy team, you will be responsible for leading the development of hydrogen energy projects in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of hydrogen energy projects in East Asia, including conceptual design, FEED, detailed design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver major national and international projects.
  • Develop and implement hydrogen energy strategies, including production, transportation, and storage.
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise to clients and stakeholders.
  • Build and lead a team of hydrogen analysts, consultants, and technical design engineers.

Requirements

  • Engineering university degree in the field of chemistry, civil, mechanical, or process engineering.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in the design, development, and execution of industrial gas infrastructure projects.
  • Solid practical knowledge of gas infrastructure projects, including conceptual design, FEED, detailed design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
  • Leading role in major national and international projects in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience with production, transportation, and storage of (especially green) hydrogen as well as development of hydrogen-based synthetic fuels or alternative end-uses.
  • Strong knowledge of applicable local and international standards as well as legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Travel flexibility for occasional projects and customer assignments in East Asia and abroad.
  • Fluent English skills (for other locations, the local native language is preferred but not necessary).
