Main Responsibilities:
  • This role requires the ability to manage execution risk for the Metals product set within group risk appetite and defined risk limits during the Asian time zone.
  • Covering the Sales/Brokerage function within the Metals department, this role may be based in Singapore or Hong Kong.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage internal and external metal flows across all Marex order platforms, including base, ferrous, foreign exchange, and precious metals.
  • Execute new trades and book them where necessary, followed by manual recapping.
  • Manage Marex Spectron market risk for the Metals product set within group risk appetite and defined risk limits while generating positive returns.
  • Reconcile client and internal flows, ensuring all book positions are validated and accepted by the London team upon handover of the Franchise to the London time zone.
  • Collaborate with sales/broking functions across multiple time zones to originate hedging solutions for clients, focusing on building out the Metals client base in Asia.
