The Role:

This position reports to our Trading Risk Management Department and is responsible for ensuring that all trading activities are conducted within established risk parameters. The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with traders and other stakeholders to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with various trading products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tackle new regulatory policies and requirements related to trading, including FRTB, CRG13/14, and Basel 3
  • Expand global markets onshore and offshore business opportunities in Connects projects and strengthen compliance coherence
  • Understand the 1.5 line of defense mechanism on SEA projects
  • Elevate overall trading risk management capability with special stress on risk monitoring and risk alerts mechanisms
  • Strengthen trading risk capital measurement, calculation of CVA/DVA charges, and RORWA
  • Provide training to traders on trading management and knowledge
  • Work closely with trading groups in expanding the trading business, helping new products due diligence, and respective compliance requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelors or above level in Finance or related majors; or other qualifications recognized by the bank
  • Understanding of onshore and offshore trading products with a minimum 5 years experience in managing these products
  • Knowledge in pricing models of different trading products
  • Knowledge in new regulatory policies and requirements and ability to deal with them
  • Knowledge in risk measurement
  • Understanding of onshore offshore Connects Products and their respective policies
  • Experience in risk management in different financial market products
  • Knowledge in dealing with different financial market products and pricing models on those products
  • Knowledge on front, middle, and back office operation flows on different financial market products
  • Knowledge on new regulatory policies and ability to deal with new requirements
  • Team player able to work with different trading teams in harmony
  • Ability to write programs to automate daily work flows
