This role involves safeguarding AIA's financial wellbeing by completing underwriting assessments within personal authority levels, achieving service level, productivity, and quality targets, and developing strong adviser communication and relationship building skills. You'll also be responsible for monitoring and managing the productivity, quality, and efficiency of the team, reviewing reports and audits to ensure consistency and accuracy of output.

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess problem-solving and communications skills, with a good command of written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Proficiency in Microsoft applications is also essential. Additionally, you'll be required to obtain relevant licenses if your job involves regulated activities.

  • Responsibilities include underwriting large amounts and complicated new business applications within agreed turnaround times, reviewing suggested cases from underwriters to ensure alignment with company rules and guidelines, liaising with IT and OBS departments for system enhancements and support initiatives, and handling channel enquiries via email and telephone.
  • You will also be responsible for conducting training sessions for channels, staff, and other internal departments, and following up on appeal cases with fair and flexible approaches to deliver quality customer service.
