Executive Financial Director

We are seeking a calibre candidate to support the expanding business in China for our client, a sizable listed company in Hong Kong.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise a small team to deliver monthly management reporting, annual budget/forecast, and long-term financial projection of the Group.
  • Handle financial issues related to the Group companies and review company-level accounts.
  • Formulate Group finance policies and procedures to promote standardization of the Group.
  • Support interim/annual audits and results announcements of the Group.
  • Perform ad-hoc assignments as required.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business, Finance/Accounting, Economics or related discipline.
  • Member of the HKICPA or equivalent.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant post-qualification experience in listed/sizable organizations.
  • Experience in Big Four CPA firms is preferred.
  • Exposure to China market is preferred.
  • Familiar with China accounting regulations is preferred.
  • High mobility is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Good command of English, Cantonese, and Putonghua.

Salary Range: Estimated salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Job Description: This role will be based in Hong Kong and requires a strong understanding of Chinese accounting regulations and practices. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in a similar role and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.
