About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Chef de Partie to join our team at Honjo, a contemporary Japanese dining restaurant in Sheung Wan. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking dishes to the highest standards, while ensuring a fast-paced and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare your section for service, ensuring all necessary ingredients and equipment are in place.
  • Cook dishes in a timely manner, adhering to our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Support your colleagues when needed, maintaining a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Adhere to health and hygiene procedures, ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
  • Manage and control your stock, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year experience as a Chef de Partie, or 3+ years experience working in the kitchen.
  • Knowledge of Japanese cuisine, ideally sushi experience.
  • Positive attitude with a teamwork mindset.
  • Sense of responsibility within your role.
  • Fluency in English is a must, other languages are advantageous.
