Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Marine Operations Specialist to join our team in China. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Oil Storage Manager in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of product handling and storage.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oil storage and handling, with experience in operating oil storage facilities, ships, and cranes. They will also possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Oil Storage Manager in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of product handling and storage.
- Assist in the execution and enforcement of company policies and procedures, with a focus on safety control and achieving optimal operations.
- Execute daily tasks in accordance with relevant regulations and guidelines for handling taxable and hazardous products.
- Under the guidance of the Oil Storage Manager, execute work related to sampling and measurement of oil products, as well as loading and unloading operations.
- Maintain high standards of safety responsibility and execute emergency response operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager, including operating cranes, ships, and other equipment as required.
- Secondary education or above.
- Experience in oil storage and handling, or relevant industry knowledge.
- Proficiency in reading and writing Chinese and fluent Cantonese, with basic understanding of simple English.
- Basic computer skills in English and Chinese.
- Good physical condition to handle heavy lifting and rough work, with ability to work outdoors.
- Strong work attitude, proactive, and able to handle work pressure with a sense of responsibility.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, including holidays and typhoon periods.
- Additional monthly allowances, rotating shifts, and meal subsidies.
