About the Role

This Virtual Asset Compliance Officer position is responsible for ensuring the company's compliance with all relevant rules and regulations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in compliance or audit, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in updating policies and procedures to ensure compliance;
  2. Participate in licensing applications for regulated virtual asset services;
  3. Coordinate with internal functions to identify gaps and drive projects to close the gap;
  4. Prepare CPT materials and maintain relevant records;
  5. Perform compliance control and monitoring programs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in the blockchain industry and proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese, with fluency in Mandarin being preferred.

Requirements:
  • University graduates in Law, Accounting, Finance, Business or other relevant fields;
  • Sound knowledge in SFO, SFC VATP Guidelines, SFC AML/CTF Guidelines and other relevant codes and regulations;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task and work under pressure.
