About the Role:A talented and innovative Product Development, Principal/Consultant is required to join our team at AIA International Limited. This role will be responsible for developing and promoting new / existing traditional life and savings products to multi-channels to optimize new business profitability, customer needs and production growth.
- Collect market information and conduct internal and external product analysis for deriving the right product solutions and product strategies to meet customer needs and competitive market environments
- Lead and implement product design and development cycle in line with the company strategies in various product development projects
- Develop various product literatures (e.g. contract, PGS template, memo, product specification, training materials), product launch pack and presentation materials for product launches
- Conduct and review the User Acceptance Test (UAT) for different systems, such as Proposal Generation System (PGS), to support product launches and various product and / or regulatory initiatives
- Oversee the quality and manage the timeline of materials delivered by team members
- Review product literatures from other departments to ensure accuracy from product perspective
- Prepare the business reports as assigned by supervisor and ensure accurate output.
- Coordinate and work closely with various departments (e.g. Law, Compliance, Operations, IT, Actuarial and Marketing departments) for assigned tasks to support product launches and various product and / or regulatory initiatives with good quality and timely manner
- Participate in Product Implementation Taskforce and PGS regular meetings to support the implementation of the product launches, various product and / or regulatory initiatives with good quality and timely manner
- Assist in various product maintenance tasks for inforce business (e.g. revamp in existing product literatures, dividend review, periodic due diligence with bank partners, Day 2 product development items, etc.)
- Assist in ad-hoc projects and other duties as required.
- University / College graduate with 6-7 years (Manager) of working experience in insurance products development role, actuarial science or related background is preferred
- Self-starter with good analytical ability
- Team player with positive attitude, good interpersonal and communication skills
- Creativity with innovative thinking and customer oriented
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with business sense
- Project management skill is preferred
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
The salary for this role is estimated to be around HKD $180,000 - HKD $250,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including medical and dental insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
