Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Specialist to join our Data Governance team at IO TECH SOLUTIONS LIMITED.

This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you will be responsible for performing business analysis, functional/non-functional requirements gathering, and change management. You will also design, test, and implement business processes, manage projects, and enable users through training and documentation.

About the Role
  • Conduct business analysis, gather requirements, and manage changes to ensure data governance best practices.
  • Design, test, and implement business processes to improve data quality and reduce risk.
  • Manage projects from start to finish, including progress tracking, reporting, and preparation of governance materials.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to empower users with the skills needed to effectively utilize FDO tooling and deliverables.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 3-5 years of experience in business analysis within large, matrixed Financial Services organizations.
  • Familiarity with data governance and SDLC processes and frameworks.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and teamwork skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across all levels and departments.
  • Strong analytical and design skills, with the ability to distill complex concepts into actionable details.
  • Hands-on, proactive, and willing to take ownership of tasks and work independently.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with writing SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from relational databases.
  • Development skills in Power BI for creating business intelligence dashboards.
  • Proficiency in VBA for automating Excel-based tasks.
  • Familiarity with Operational Risk and Compliance processes and frameworks.
  • Business fluency in Mandarin Chinese.
Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits package including health insurance, pension scheme, and annual leave.
