Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Senior Data Governance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the data governance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of our data governance framework, ensuring that our data assets are secure, accurate, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and update our data governance policy, guidelines, and controls, ensuring they align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify data quality issues and develop strategies to improve data accuracy and completeness.
- Analyze compliance requirements and identify potential risks and gaps in our data management processes.
- Develop and implement data analytics projects to support business decision-making and drive business growth.
- Provide guidance and support to data owners and users on data governance policies and procedures.
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in data governance, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing data governance frameworks and data analytics projects.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in SQL, ETL, and Microsoft tools such as Power BI, Excel, and Visio.
- Experience in data analytics platforms, AI/ML, and cloud-based technologies is highly desirable.
