Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Framework Specialist to join our team at HAECO. This role is responsible for building and maintaining a robust data governance framework that ensures the accurate and secure management of our enterprise data assets.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have over 5 years of experience in data governance, with a proven track record of building data governance frameworks in the aviation industry or other MNCs. They will be responsible for evaluating market DG solutions, collaborating with data engineers and analysts to ensure all important data are formally listed in our enterprise data platform, and performing privacy impact assessments to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Data Governance Framework Development
    • Design and implement a comprehensive data governance framework that aligns with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
    • Evaluate and recommend data governance solutions that meet our business needs.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management
    • Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure data quality, security, and integrity.
    • Communicate effectively with business leaders to ensure alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Compliance and Risk Management
    • Perform regular privacy impact assessments to ensure compliance with Hong Kong's PDPO, European's GDPR, and China's Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL).
    • Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with data breaches or non-compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Law, or related disciplines.
  • At least 5 years of experience in data governance, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong knowledge of data protection regulations and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English; Mandarin is an advantage.
