Salary

\dbS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited offers a competitive salary package that reflects the seniority and experience required for this role, estimated to be HK$950,000 - HK$1,350,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and performance.

Job Description

  • \
  • As a Data Governance Lead, you will lead the development of standards, controls, procedures, and accountability frameworks for data governance implementation across the organization, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.\
  • You will define the data strategy to establish and ensure adherence to the organization's data governance framework, encompassing data policies, standards, governance metrics, processes, and data architecture.\
  • Track emerging data regulations and trends to maintain a compliant and contemporary data governance program, staying ahead of industry developments and regulatory changes.\
  • Oversee processes for improving data quality, cataloging, and metadata management, implementing data quality rules, checks, and issue resolution workflows to enhance data accuracy and integrity.\
  • Liaise with cross-functional teams to implement data governance initiatives, fostering collaboration and communication among stakeholders.\\

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or above in a related field, such as computer science, information technology, or business administration.\
  • A minimum of 8 years of working experience in data governance/data management/risk management-related work, preferably in a banking or financial institution environment.\
  • Experience in establishing and monitoring data governance frameworks, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.\
  • Sound knowledge of Hong Kong regulatory requirements related to data governance is highly desirable.\
  • Previous experience in developing and executing data strategies, governance policies, and data management is a plus.\\
