Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team in Hong Kong. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for promoting our industrial products and solutions to clients, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with existing customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Product Promotion: Implement strategies and action plans to promote our industrial products, including generators, lighting towers, water pumps, and handheld tools, to translate them into sales.
- Customer Representation: Represent our products to customers and at field events, such as conferences, seminars, and demonstrations.
- Relationship Building: Maintain relationships with existing customers and explore new market segments for continual business growth.
- Order Monitoring: Monitor customer order processes and provide prompt information to fulfill customer queries.
- Technical Support: Provide pre-sales engineering and technical support to customers.
- Market Intelligence: Collect competitive intelligence of the market and analyze performance-related data to improve fiscal performance.
- Sales Materials: Prepare necessary sales and marketing materials/reports for our industrial products.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with product, aftermarket, logistics, and credit teams to ensure smooth order processes and effective aftermarket support to customers.
- Reporting: Report directly to the Sales & Marketing Manager to identify and develop new potential customers and applications.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 3 years of working experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the construction machinery industry.
- Skills: Good command of MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint, proficiency in both written English and Chinese, and a valid driving license.
- Personal Qualities: Good communication and interpersonal skills, good teamwork spirit, self-motivated, organized, and energetic.
