About the Role:
Drive strategic product development and lead execution of customer-centric initiatives to optimize business profitability, customer needs, and production growth across all insurance lines and channels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate overall product strategy and develop new product launches to support multi-channel distribution.
  • Provide insights to channels to deliver various product initiatives and meet business goals of multi-channels.
  • Oversee the development of new product concepts for all product lines to meet customer needs and competitive market environments.
  • Identify opportunities and new product initiatives for different customer segments and multi-channels.
  • Develop robust customer campaign strategies with excellence in execution.
  • Build business networks with external providers, including reinsurance partners.
  • Collaborate with Health & Wellness and Wealth Management Proposition departments to deliver compelling propositions.
  • Work closely with stakeholders, such as Actuarial, Operations, Reinsurers, LUSEB members, Agencies, Partnership Distribution, Marketing, etc., to formulate and implement initiatives to drive agreed business plans.
  • Ensure product development and implementation processes comply with regulatory guidelines, Group's governance structures, and Risk and Compliance Standards.
  • Develop career roadmaps for team members and succession plans.

Job Requirements:
  • University graduate with over 15 years of working experience in the insurance industry, with product development experience being a must.
  • Solid experience in product innovation, product development, and system implementation, with pricing experience being preferred.
  • All-rounded experience in business development, strategic planning, and project management.
  • Distribution channel experience covering both agency and bancassurance is desirable, along with strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills are essential.
  • Excellent written skills in Chinese and English are required, as well as effective staff coaching skills.
