Highly Skilled IT Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join our team at Gravitas Recruitment Group.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide daily technical support and handle requests from end users with the highest level of professionalism and expertise.
- Resolve cases received from tickets, emails and walk-ins efficiently and effectively.
- Create and update cases via ticketing system in a timely manner.
- Handle desktops, laptops and mobile phones with ease, providing top-notch support and troubleshooting services.
- Maintain accurate system documentation, hardware & software inventory for seamless operations.
- Offer other IT-related support as required, showcasing adaptability and resourcefulness.
- Participate in projects, collaborating with colleagues to drive business success.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned, demonstrating a willingness to go above and beyond.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge on desktop, networking, and general PC applications, including Microsoft 365.
- Showcase excellent communication skills in Chinese and English, facilitating effective collaboration and client interactions.
- Possess a minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience in IT helpdesk or desktop support position, with a proven track record of success.
- Exhibit self-motivation, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, enabling efficient issue resolution and process improvement.
- Demonstrate ability to work with minimal supervision, exercising autonomy and initiative.
- Meet strict deadlines and perform under pressure, maintaining composure and focus.
- Display great organization and time management skills, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to multi-task and handle pressure is essential, ensuring seamless delivery of high-quality results.
- Familiarity with various tools and technologies, including Active Directory, ADSI, Computer/Configuration Management, DFS Management, DHCP, DNS, Event Viewer, ODBC Data Sources, Print Management, Registry Editor, Remote Desktop, System Configuration, Task Scheduler, Control Panel, SCCM, Command Prompt, PowerShell, TCP/IP, VPN, Switches, Cable Patching, OneDrive, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams, Skype for Business, Visio, Access, Microsoft Endpoint Manager - Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Intune, and Windows 10/11.
- Bonus points for experience in handling/managing Hardware Support and Maintenance, including laptop, desktop, docking stations and other computer peripherals, as well as mobile phone (iOS and Android).
$65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
