Our client, a well-established market making firm, is seeking an Application Support Lead to lead their support team in the region. As a key member of the team, you will split your time between team management and hands-on support tasks, working closely with business and the desks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of application support specialists to ensure seamless delivery of support services
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve support processes and efficiency
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and develop solutions
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in supporting real-time trading applications
  • Familiarity with assets such as equities, futures, options, OTC, and etc.
  • Expertise in operating Windows and Linux environments with good command over scripting languages such as Shell, Perl, Python, etc.
  • Familiarity with DevOps & Cloud is a plus
  • Good communication skills and stakeholder management skills
  • Leadership experience is a plus
