Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Raytheon Technologies. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and directing the efficient and effective execution of all Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) operations and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct a team of approximately 50 employees, including first-level leaders, to ensure the successful execution of MRO operations and processes.
  • Monitor product quality and ensure that shipped orders comply with regulatory requirements, including those of the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department and other regulatory agencies.
  • Provide direction and guidance to production leaders and employees to ensure a culture of customer-first, mutual trust, and respect, and personal accountability.
  • Manage department spending, labor, and material costs to minimize variances and meet margin plan targets.
  • Maintain delivery, quality, and performance objectives and targets to meet/exceed customer on-time delivery and delivered quality expectations.
  • Support the execution of short- and medium-term manufacturing and services strategies and the tactical direction of the site MRO processes.
  • Ensure that succession and talent growth plans are in place across all key roles, including staffing to plan for all manufacturing positions.
  • Partner with site management and the sales organization to ensure that the site efficiently and effectively executes its contractual and company-funded obligations.
  • Champion an environment of relentless continuous improvement and actively participate in and lead continuous improvement events and projects.
  • Ensure all production and support personnel operate in full compliance with the company's Code of Ethics, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment and champion worker safety, sustainability, and environmental stewardship.

Requirements:

  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or
  • An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
  • Minimum 3 years Management/Supervisory experience required
  • Ability to speak, write, read, and interpret the English language
  • Ability to speak (both Mandarin and Cantonese preferred), write, and read the Chinese language
  • Aerospace industry experience, and/or overhaul and repair environment experience
