Job Overview

As a Business Development Manager at Now Health International, you will play a key role in driving growth and innovation across our business. Your primary focus will be on identifying and delivering opportunities to expand our premium income, leveraging your in-depth understanding of client business drivers to manage the sales process to a successful conclusion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the General Manager to build and maintain relationships with a panel of brokers, ensuring the best possible positioning of our products and services.
  • Support the General Manager in reviewing broker performance and providing training as needed to ensure high retention levels through a peerless service experience.
  • Collaborate with the underwriting team to maximize group renewals and drive business growth.
  • Present Now Health International to potential clients via face-to-face meetings, telephone calls, and emails, ensuring all communications demonstrate the highest levels of professionalism and cultural sensitivity.
  • Actively manage the sales process, including lead generation, credentials pitch, overcoming objections, negotiations, and closing.
  • Manage and maintain the pipeline in Salesforce and report the status of any opportunity to the General Manager and senior management.
  • Align clients' and intermediary expectations of service standards and support the development of operational staff to nurture strong partner relationships.
  • Create and be accountable for proposals, contracts, and further documentation using Now Health International procedures and service standards.
  • Respond to requests for information in a timely manner and arrange and attend meetings and other forms of communication with clients and/or other internal functions necessary to perform the above duties.
  • Adhere to Best Practice Processes, Service Standards, and all relevant statutory or regulatory requirements, including treating customers fairly (TCF).
