Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Consultant to join our team in Greater China. As a key member of our Digital Security Solutions team, you will be responsible for generating sales pipeline, closing opportunities, and providing technical solutions to customers. Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to identify market trends and opportunities in assigned regions.
  • Act as a technical solutions lead for Greater China, providing insights, examples, and demonstrating nShield solutions to CIOs, CTOs, prospects, existing customers, and partners.
  • Create engaging presentations and deliver them at industry conferences, seminars, marketing events, and other marketing events organized by partners.
  • Answer customer queries on proposed solutions and Entrust Digital Security products & solutions, and discover customer functional requirements and pain points on data security.
  • Provide enlightening technical advice to customers, introduce security best practices to help customers solve their business problems, and outline roadmaps to customers' success with DPS/Entrust nShield solutions.
  • Engage and lead Proof of Concepts, prepare solution architectures, and produce technical proposals for RFP responses and customer projects in the region.
  • Develop custom/regional-driven solutions that cover regional customer requirements and demands, aligning with company direction and solution roadmap & strategy.
  • Build technical enablement plans, leverage partner resources, conduct technical workshops and trainings for partners and customers.
  • Gather ongoing prospect/customer feedback and related information, providing sound and valid responses to prospects/customers by working with the entire DPS team.
  • Maintain market exposure through social media and other media channels as a spokesperson.
  • Deliver remote and field-based product installations (in the absence of Professional Services team), problem resolution, and technical know-how on product integration.
  • Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge on Entrust nShield products.
  • Contribute and share demos and technical know-how to the Technical Sales Consulting community.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in technology or equivalent, with additional business-related education a plus.
  • Minimum of 8 years' experience in technology pre-sales roles, partnering with sales teams on technological support of high-value customer-focused solutions centered on IT systems/security.
  • Outgoing character and well-experienced public speaker in the region, with excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Previous exposure to one or more areas in Hardware Security Modules, PKI, Windows, and Unix Operating Systems, and networking.
  • Entrust leadership qualities: collaborative, innovative, and agile, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Understanding of the software development process, cryptographic APIs, and languages such as PKCS#11, Java, and C for leading the General Purpose HSM product domain.
  • Sound experience and domain knowledge of cryptographic technologies, including encryption solutions (PKI, digital signing, blockchain, etc.).
  • Strong commercial awareness, persuasive, and strategic minds, with a technical background.
  • CISSP or MCSE qualifications a plus, with a willingness to obtain these certifications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Background in the IT security industry involving hardware and/or software presales.
  • Native Cantonese, Mandarin speaking.
  • Data Protection, encryption/cryptography experience highly desirable.
  • Ability to demonstrate creative thinking.
