Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Solutions Architect to join our team at Tech Data (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. as a key member of our Security Solutions team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security solutions, with expertise in designing and implementing end-to-end security solutions for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with our APJ business leads and vendors to understand their business requirements and growth initiatives, and propose the required security solutions.
  • Design and develop digital transformation solution blueprints that showcase the critical role of security technologies in customer digital transformation journeys.
  • Develop hands-on expertise in security solutions from leading vendors such as F5, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Cisco, and Zscaler.
  • Work with other technology vendors and ISVs to build solutions use cases in our Center of Excellence based on sales demand and emerging trends.
  • Create solutions play to effectively explain and articulate solution use cases to our internal TD Sales, Pre-sales, and partners community.
  • Identify opportunities to engage prospective and existing clients and lead and support security-focused solutions by building solution use cases to support demos, proof of concepts, and partner enablement.
  • Design complex vendor solutions to meet customer requirements and support our APJ Presales Team with technical-related enquiries.
  • Support our Country's Product/Channel Sales Team in prospecting new opportunities and provide technical and sales training to TD sales, pre-sales, and partners.
  • Lead and conduct solution presentations and demonstrations, and deliver presentations at Tech Data, Partner, or Vendor-led solutions events.
  • Participate in business planning activities, including quarterly business reviews with vendors and internal business units, and respond to technical solution enquiries from internal/external sales and resellers and end-users.
  • Mentor and coach our presales consultants and system engineers on solution initiatives and provide 2nd-level support.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in security solutions.
  • Strong hands-on experience with relevant certification in security domain.
  • Comprehensive security knowledge in security architectures, design, operations, and troubleshooting.
  • Advanced knowledge in DDOS, network security, infrastructure security, database/application security, and cloud security.
  • Advanced web application firewall security knowledge, including detailed understanding of vulnerabilities in web applications, APIs, and automated threats.
  • Advanced authentication and authorization knowledge, including SAML, OAuth, and Kerberos.
  • Proven experience in building security reference architecture for hybrid scenarios.
  • Advanced-level certification with one of the key security vendors, such as F5, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Zscaler, Cisco, or other security brands.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to conduct product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and present to business and technical users.
  • Strong attention to detail, priority management, and planning skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to articulate technical or operational problems or issues into simple, understandable business terms.
  • Able to design and effectively present high-impact presentations to partner/customer senior-level management.
  • Possess strong leadership skills and decision-making capability.
  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision and result-oriented.
