Job Title: Senior Solution Architect
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Solution Architect to join our team at Classy Wheeler Limited. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing digital solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Implementation
Develop comprehensive infrastructure designs and systems analysis for digital solutions, ensuring they meet the needs of our clients.
Technical ExpertiseAct as a technical expert for infrastructure teams, providing guidance on the plan, design, and delivery of IT solutions.
Advisory RoleAdvise teams on IT technology standard requirements, methodology, and processes, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.
Proof of ConceptsParticipate in proof of concepts to assist in defining technology direction and enabling business strategy.
Technical PlanningConduct end-to-end technical plan design, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
Data ManagementDevelop long-term strategy for historical data retention and archival plan for storage needs.
Data SecurityDefine data retention, backup, and recovery methods and plans, ensuring data integrity and security.
Enterprise StandardsDevelop enterprise standards to ensure compatibility and integration of multi-vendor platforms.
Infrastructure DesignDesign and develop infrastructure blueprints for the implementation of new solutions.
System IntegrationResponsible for impact analysis and design modifications to existing systems to support new solutions.
Interface DevelopmentDevelop specifications for interfaces from existing to new systems.
DocumentationMaintain a common documentation library of standardized procedures and configurations.
SupportProvide third-level support for incidents and problems in designated areas of expertise.
Requirements
- Education
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
ExperienceA minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in digital solution consulting or development.
Candidate ProfileCandidate with less experience will be considered as Solution Architect.
Technical SkillsThorough knowledge of one or more of the Operating Systems: Windows / Linux / Unix and its concepts, and the interaction between hardware, operating systems, network, data center, and application software.
Cloud ComputingExperienced in architecture and solutioning of enterprise applications (Cloud-based platforms like AWS, AliCloud) and digital capabilities (e.g. APIs, microservices architecture).
Industry ExperienceExperience in working with ICT enterprises, System Integrators, and Consulting firms as solution partners is preferred.
Service-Oriented ArchitectureExperience in concepts, principles, and implementation approaches of service-oriented architecture (digital) is an advantage.
VirtualizationStrong working knowledge of VMware or other virtual software.
Network ProtocolsDeep understanding of TCP, IP, and other network protocols. Familiarity with DNS, DHCP, and other network services.
Data Center ManagementKnowledge of managing a data center in terms of systems monitoring, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
Soft SkillsPositive attitude, fast-learning, energetic, able to perform in challenging environment.
Challenger MindsetWillingness to be a challenger to the traditional way.
Language SkillsGood command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
