Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at Novare Technologies. As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining our data infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Data Integration: Develop data integration jobs for ingesting data to our Big Data Platform, ensuring seamless data flow and high-quality data.
- Requirements Translation: Translate business and analyst requirements into technical code, ensuring accurate and efficient data processing.
- ETL Development: Develop necessary procedures and functions for ETL jobs and processes to extract, transform, and load data from various data sources.
- Deployment and Troubleshooting: Deploy solutions and troubleshoot/resolve issues in ETL jobs or BI reports when necessary, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum data availability.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year ETL Development experience, with a strong understanding of data quality management and monitoring.
- Skills: Proven knowledge of databases, SQL, scripting languages, ETL, and file transfer automation, with experience in Linux/Unix and scripting.
- Additional Skills: Understanding of integration of data from multiple data sources, knowledge of ETL tools (preferably Talend), and experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, Scala).
- Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to identify potential issues, analyze and logically breakdown problems, create useful hypotheses when troubleshooting, and devise efficient solutions.
- Project Management Skills: Ability to manage one's own workload and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Product Knowledge Mastery: Ability to facilitate and build end-user/client confidence in produced software and application solutions, implement process changes, and ideas to improve product quality.
