Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Custody Manager, Operations to join our team at Bank Of China (Hong Kong) Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the custody operation, including settlement and clearing, corporate actions, FX cash management, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the custody operation, ensuring compliance with current legislative and regulatory requirements and the Bank's operational risk guidelines.
  • Evaluate and propose solutions to client requirements from operation and system perspectives.
  • Drive operational changes and system enhancements to meet the changing needs of the business.
  • Participate in UAT tests and other ad-hoc projects.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or above.
  • 3-5 years of experience in custody business.
  • Overall understanding and knowledge of various markets and investment instruments, as well as their related operating modes, clearing and settlement procedures, laws and regulations, and commonly-used SWIFT formats.
  • Familiarity with different markets and operating requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills to work with the team.
  • Independent thinking, arranging work, and dealing with business partners or service providers; flexible and client-oriented in rendering client-fronting services.
  • Meticulous with details; diligent and efficient in follow-through.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure arisen from workload and time constraints.
  • Sensitive about international market developments and industry initiatives.
