Overview Procurement Officer role at Cognita Schools. The Role The Procurement Officer is primarily responsible for procurement and inventory functions for the school. Key responsibilities include working with internal departments to understand needs, processing purchase requests, and managing relationships with vendors to secure favorable terms and pricing. The position also handles budget control, invoice reconciliation, digitizing the procurement process to enhance efficiency, and other administrative tasks as needed. What You Will Be Doing Work with the Facility Management team (JLL) to identify the need for small repairs and callouts. Provide at least 3 quotations for comparison for repairs or replacements over HK$5,000 and make recommendations to management. Keep track of all purchases made by JLL and their warranty periods to ensure coverage where applicable. Reconcile all invoices from JLL with proper approvals before passing to Finance for payment. Lead the digitalisation of the procurement process and participate in UAT. Who We Are Looking For Detail-oriented individual with a passion for purchasing and inventory management. Computer literacy is essential. Ability to utilize and develop computerized spreadsheets and word processing applications. Experience with procurement system setup is highly preferred.
